That's a wrap on the 2026 IOKF Summer Camp!

Our deepest thanks go first and foremost to Hanshi Peter Polander for sharing his knowledge, inspiring us all, and bringing together this incredible martial arts family.

Thank you to Senseis Niamh Cawley, Helen Cawley, Grzegorz Goworek, and Ludwik Orthwein for generously sharing their experience, and to Artur Andrzejewski and Karol Jaskulski for taking the time to help fellow students grow.

Most of all, thank you to every person who came to train. Your hard work, open minds, and willingness to learn are what make this camp possible year after year. You are the heart of this event.

The 2026 IOKF Summer Camp Sayonara Party!

What a wonderful evening spent with amazing people. Great conversations, plenty of laughs, lasting friendships, and a shared love for martial arts.

Nights like these remind us that the connections we build off the mats are just as meaningful as the training we share on them.
Thank you all for making it such a special night!

2026 IOKF Summer Camp – Day 4
The fourth and final full day of training is in the books!

We made the most of every minute with plenty of open-hand techniques and kobudo training.
We also took time for black belt pre-testing and answered those final questions before everyone heads home to bring this new knowledge back to their own dojos.

The spirit of sharing, learning, and growing together continues to make this camp such a special experience!

2026 IOKF Summer Camp day 3
Friday's classes were an absolute blast!
We covered it all: kihon, bunkai, kumite, kobudo, and ground fighting.
The long hours on the mats are definitely starting to take their toll. Muscles are sore, a few bruises have appeared, but no one is slowing down.
Everyone is giving it everything they've got, and it's incredible to watch the techniques click and come together.
That's where the real growth happens!

Second day of the 2026 IOKF Summer Camp, and we're not slowing down!
Today we hit the mats for ground fighting, learning chokes, escapes, and arm bars.
Another day of pushing our limits, sharpening our skills, and having a great time doing it.
Looking forward to what tomorrow brings!

Rise and shine! Day 2 of our 2026 Summer Camp kicked off with an energizing morning session focused on hand combinations and how to apply them effectively in sparring.
Great workout, lots of learning, and an awesome way to start the day. On to the next session!

The much-needed downtime after another long day of training. Time to unwind, share training tips and experiences, catch up on everything that's happened in our lives over the past year, and enjoy each other's company.

That's what makes us more than training partners. That's what makes us a budo family.
