Join us for our Diaspora 2 Dialogue in Warsaw!
The Filipino community in Poland continues to grow, and this gathering creates space to meet, share experiences, and talk about the realities Filipinos face today. We bring together community members, migration experts, and institutions for an open and practical dialogue focused on support, information, and connection.
The discussions will cover migration trends and what they mean for Filipinos in Poland. We will talk about legal pathways to work and residence, ethical recruitment, worker protection, integration, and access to health and support services. The event will also highlight community experiences, achievements, challenges, and needs, followed by an interactive dialogue with speakers and participants.

Courtesy Call Meeting with Embassy Ambassador for Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia and Ukraine Leah Basinang-Ruiz
We had the privilege of meeting with Ambassador Leah Basinang-Ruiz for a productive courtesy call, where we engaged in a meaningful discussion about the growing community of Filipino teachers in Poland. The conversation centered on the invaluable contributions of Filipino educators, highlighting their passion for teaching, their commitment to lifelong learning, and the impact they have in shaping the educational landscape in Poland.
A key part of the discussion was how we can further elevate the teaching profession in Poland, encouraging Filipino teachers to draw from their experiences and continue to inspire the next generation of learners. We also emphasized the importance of fostering a sense of community and support among Filipino teachers, urging those already living and working in Poland to get more involved in helping others grow professionally and personally.
Present at the meeting were President Anarose Brion Panaga, Vice-President Nevalyn Gendek, and Mea Bugnosen, who also took the opportunity to connect with fellow educators. Together, we explored ways to inspire and empower Filipino teachers, motivating them to be more active in shaping the future of education in Poland.
This meeting was a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of Filipino teachers and to discuss ways we can support and uplift each other as we continue our collective journey of growth and learning.

🌟 Introducing the Filipino Teachers Association in Poland (FTAP) 🌟
We are thrilled to officially introduce the Filipino Teachers Association in Poland (FTAP), a newly formed organization aimed at gathering, supporting, and empowering Filipino teachers residing in Poland.
At the helm of FTAP is our President, Anarose Brion Panaga who has been instrumental in bringing this initiative to life. Alongside her is a dynamic Board of Directors that includes Neva Lyn Machica , Glai Velasquez , and Mea Bugnosen—all dedicated to making a positive impact on the Filipino teaching community.
The creation of this association was inspired by the vision of His Excellency Consul General Gerry Suliguin, who saw the need to bring together Filipino educators in Poland to foster unity and professional growth. Through FTAP, we aim to:
Unite Filipino teachers across Poland, providing a strong network of support and collaboration.
Offer training, workshops, and activities to help fellow kababayans achieve their dreams of becoming successful educators in Poland.
Promote continuous professional development for Filipino teachers in Poland, helping them adapt to the educational system and challenges in a foreign country.
This association is not just a network, but a community—an avenue for Filipino teachers to share knowledge, inspire one another, and work together for the betterment of our profession.
To all our kababayans who are educators or aspiring to become teachers in Poland, we invite you to join us! Together, we can achieve great things and help each other grow as educators and as Filipinos living abroad.
Mabuhay! 🇵🇭
