Today, after two years of work, the TRACE consortium from across the V4 region will convene at ARCHER at House 88 at the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial site together with international researchers, civil society representatives, and practitioners.

The conference will present the outcomes of the consortium's project—to counter antisemitism and antigypsyism— and launch its multilingual digital platform, foster the exchange of experience and good practice across the V4 region and beyond, and set the direction for sustained cross-border cooperation in the years ahead.

This week: A unique concert at House 88 that will restore to public consciousness the classical, folk, and popular music that was almost erased by the atrocities of the Holocaust.

These works, written on scraps of paper or transcribed from memory, bear witness to a cultural brilliance that was almost extinguished during the Holocaust.

Saved and performed by the renowned composer, conductor, and musicologist Francesco Lotoro.

NEW PODCAST EPISODE:
Left-Wing Extremism and Antisemitism

Dr Hans-Jakob Schindler and Alexander Ritzmann are joined by journalist and author Nicholas Potter—who has faced death threats and intimidation because of his work—to discuss the rise in left-wing extremism and antisemitism.

They talk about groups on the left that put aside ideological differences to create larger networks united in anti-democratic, illiberal and antisemitic causes.

This week, we welcomed a group from Golders Green in London to the opening of The Birdman of Auschwitz at the Commandant’s house next to the death camp.

For them and Jews round the world the societal illness that this exhibition exposes isn’t history. It’s a daily reality.

They will return home to fresh pain after the brutal stabbing of two from their own community yesterday.

Britain is in danger of becoming a place where Jews can no longer live and thrive in peace, as they've done for generations
