🎉🎉🎉 We are delighted to share that our grant proposal 'Evaluating wool deterioration in historical tapestries to support their conservation' received funding within the OPUS 30 programme of the Narodowe Centrum Nauki NCN!

🤝 Our team from the Instytut Katalizy i Fizykochemii Powierzchni PAN will collaborate on this project with Wydział Chemii UJ and two heritage institutions taking care of major tapestry collections – Zamek Królewski na Wawelu and The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York!

🙏 We would like to thank all colleagues for their contribution to the grant proposal and are more than excited to start the joint project!

📣 The last paper of the PVCare project is out!

We are delighted to share that our paper on the risk of damage to PVC objects due to loss has recently been published in the npj Heritage Science journal (Springer Nature)!

Although the PVCare project officially ended last year, we have continued working on a few papers related to PVC deterioration, and one of them has just been published in the Journal of Cultural Heritage!
