Our C1 English course is designed for students who want to develop advanced English skills, communicate with greater confidence and precision, and prepare for a certified C1 English exam.
The course combines advanced language development with practical communication and exam preparation. Students work on reading, listening, speaking and writing while expanding their vocabulary, refining their grammar and learning to express complex ideas clearly and effectively.
At Cracow International School and Wawel International School, English is part of everyday learning and communication. Our experience in an international educational environment shapes the way we approach language learning: we want students to develop English they can use confidently and independently in demanding academic and real-life situations.
During the first semester, students focus on systematically developing their C1 competence. They work on more complex texts and spoken language, develop their ability to build and support arguments, express nuanced ideas and adapt their language to different situations and contexts.
In the second semester, the focus shifts towards more intensive exam preparation. Students become familiar with the exam structure, task types and assessment criteria while developing effective strategies, time management and the ability to analyse and improve their own work.
The goal is not simply to prepare students to pass an exam. C1 gives them the advanced language skills, confidence and independence they need for the next stages of their education, including future academic opportunities and studying abroad.
