‘Give up’ means to stop trying, and ‘give in’ means to reluctantly agree to something.

“Give in” (to yield, surrender, or reluctantly agree)
1. After hours of begging, Maria finally gave in and let her kids stay up late.
2. The manager didn’t want to lower the price, but he gave in after the customer threatened to leave.
3. He tried to resist the temptation to eat chocolate, but he eventually gave in and had a piece.
4. Despite the pressure, she refused to give in to their demands.
5. During negotiations, both sides had to give in a little to reach an agreement.

“Give up” (to stop trying or quit)
1. Don’t give up on your dreams, even if the journey seems difficult.
