Students visited one of the best rehabilitation centers in the United States - Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The Shepherd Center is nationally recognized for its specialized care in spinal cord, brain injury, and stroke rehabilitation, helping patients from all over the country regain independence and quality of life. We were given a guided tour of the facility, learning about its innovative therapies and patient-centered approach.

We also visited the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University, one of the top nursing schools in the U.S. The school is known for its cutting-edge research, highly ranked programs, and commitment to preparing nursing leaders who improve health globally.

On November 8, our students had the opportunity to attend an NBA basketball game: Atlanta Hawks vs. LA Lakers! We had an amazing time cheering for the teams, soaking in the incredible atmosphere, and experiencing true American sports spirit. The energy in the arena was unforgettable!

On November 9, we joined a magical holiday event at Stone Mountain Park. It was a wonderful day filled with festive activities — a scenic train ride, joyful caroling, a visit with Santa, a beautiful live performance of A Christmas Carol, and spectacular light shows that truly brought the holiday spirit to life.

On November 7, our students visited Grady Hospital – one of the largest public hospitals in the southeastern United States. The facility is renowned for its Level I Trauma Center and its state-of-the-art Simulation Center, where healthcare students and professionals from across the region receive training.

Our students had the opportunity to participate in simulation sessions at the Grady Simulation Center, where they could practice clinical procedures in realistic conditions.

We also had the pleasure of attending the certificate award ceremony, which was a wonderful conclusion to this inspiring day

During their stay in Atlanta, our students had the opportunity to visit two of the city’s most famous attractions — the World of Coca-Cola and the Georgia Aquarium.

At the World of Coca-Cola, they explored the history of the world’s most iconic beverage, experienced interactive exhibits, and even tasted Coca-Cola products from around the globe.

The visit to the Georgia Aquarium was equally exciting — students saw incredible marine life, including whale sharks, dolphins, and sea lions. Both experiences offered a fun and educational insight into Atlanta’s culture and attractions.
