IELTS With Anwar Shaz

Mr. Muhammad Anwar Shaz is a highly experienced and esteemed member of the Scholars fraternity. With 24 years of teaching experience in English Language and literature, he has made significant contributions to education. He holds an MS Degree in English Literature from the International Islamic University, Islamabad, and an MA Degree, in the same field, from the Punjab University, Lahore. Additionally, he is certified in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and holds a B.Ed. degree. Mr. Anwar also has a diploma in ELT (English Language Teaching) from the Punjab University.
Throughout his career, Mr. Anwar has taught at prestigious institutions including Punjab University, COMSATS, F.G. Degree College for Men, Wah Cantt, Quaide e Azam College, Lahore, Gandhara College and BASE College, Wah Cantt. He has also held important administrative positions, such as Principal of BASE College and Vice Principal of The Scholars Science College. Furthermore, he has served as the Head of English Departments in both these institutions, demonstrating his leadership skills and commitment to enhance the quality of English education.
Mr. Anwar has a wealth of experience in the field of Curriculum Development. He is the writer of more than two dozen academic books. His textbook for Class 3 received approval from Punjab Textbook Board and was taught in government schools in Punjab from 2012 to 2017. Additionally, his textbook for Class 8 was implemented in Kashmir schools for a decade. He played a significant role in developing the Nakhla Series for AFAQ and authored Kanz Native English Textbook Series for KPK schools covering classes 1 to 7.
In addition to his curriculum development expertise, Mr. Anwar has made notable contributions as an editor for esteemed publications such as Teen Times, Wifaq Times, and Taleemi Jaiza. He has demonstrated his versatile writing skills through columns, stories, and poems in various dailies and periodicals. With also having master's degree in Urdu literature, Mr. Anwar has a deep passion for Urdu poetry, particularly writing Naat. He has attended a number of mushairas and received Hafeez Taib Award for the best Naat poet. He remained consistently attached with Radio Pakistan’s programme Bazm e Talaba.
Mr. Anwar's accomplishments also include being a certified IELTS trainer. At The Scholars IELTS & English Language Centre, he has successfully trained numerous IELTS students. Within just one year, 36 students completed their IELTS successfully under his guidance. Among them, 13 achieved a band score of 7.5, which is considered excellent. This speaks highly of Mr. Anwar's expertise and effective teaching methods in helping students achieve their desired scores.
Mr. Anwar's extensive teaching experience, combined with his academic qualifications and administrative roles, demonstrates his expertise in English Language and literature. His contributions to education have undoubtedly made a positive impact on numerous students and institutions throughout his career.
