Congratulations to Sherafzal Khan (Department of Education, University of Wah) on His Outstanding Literary Achievement!

On June 4, 2026, Sherafzal Khan, a student of the Department of Education, University of Wah (Wah Cantt.), achieved remarkable success in an inter-institutional poetry competition in which participants from different universities and educational institutions competed.

The event featured two poetry contests. The first was a Tarahi Ghazal competition based on the famous line by Mir Taqi Mir:

"Ghanimat hai jahan mein dam hamara."
"غنیمت ہے جہاں میں دم ہمارا"
Competing against talented poets from various institutions, Sherafzal Khan showcased exceptional creativity and literary skill, securing 1st Position in the Tarahi Ghazal competition.

In the second contest, where participants were invited to present any original poem or ghazal, he earned 2nd Position, further demonstrating his poetic excellence.
