*Daanish Girls Vehari Orientation Day 2026-2027*

Daanish School Girls, Melsi Vehari organized the 7th Orientation Day for the 2026-2027 batch. *Honourable Principal Ma’am Zarqa Suhail Rana* graced the event and warmly welcomed new students and parents.

The program began with *recitation of Holy Quran Pak* followed by *Naat-e-Rasool Maqbool ﷺ*. In her welcome address, the Principal highlighted Daanish School’s mission of quality education and presented the *boarding schedule, hostel rules, and school discipline*.

*Deputy Head, House Mistress, Assistant House Mistress, Counselling Officer, and School Doctor* were introduced. *Welcome kits* were distributed to all new students.

Parents toured the *academic building, labs, classrooms, hostel, mess hall, and dorms*. *Parents were served Rooh Afza during the program as a refreshment.* The event concluded on a gracious note with a *well-arranged lunch for all guests*. Parents left with satisfied smiles, entrusting their daughters to Daanish for a bright future.

Labour Day was meaningfully celebrated at Daanish School Girls Vehari Campus with great enthusiasm and respect for the invaluable contributions of workers. The event commenced with an informative presentation delivered to students, highlighting the historical significance of Labour Day and the importance of dignity of labour in building a progressive society.
Following the presentation, a special lunch was arranged in honour of the allied staff, acknowledging their dedication and tireless services.
Adding to the beauty of the occasion, a flute performance was presented, which brought an aesthetic charm and created a pleasant atmosphere for everyone present.

The event began with a warm and respectful welcome to all alumni. The hosts greeted the guests with enthusiasm, expressing gratitude for their presence.
One of the most peaceful and enjoyable parts of the reunion was the lunch accompanied by a soothing flute performance. The soft melodies created a calm and pleasant atmospher. This segment beautifully blended music with hospitality.
The mimicry added a touch of humor and liveliness to the event. Talented performers entertained the audience by imitating teachers, famous personalities, and common school situations.
The singing showcased the musical talents of the alumni. Participants performed songs that ranged from emotional melodies to energetic tunes.
The skit performance depicted scenes from student life at Daanish School, including struggles, friendships, discipline, and achievements.
A special segment focused on the value of Daanish School in the lives of its alumni. On the occasion of *World Table Tennis Day*, an *Inter-house Table Tennis Match* was organized at *Daanish School Girls Vehari*. The worthy Principal was welcomed as Chief Guest and presented with a *commemorative Table Tennis memoir* as a memento of honor by the students. In a thrilling contest, Ayesha House emerged as the winner and was awarded the trophy, while Zainab House secured the runner-up position. The day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and all students and staff enjoyed the matches thoroughly.

On *World Earth Day* a special morning assembly was organized at *Daanish School Girls Vehari* today. A presentation highlighted the theme of the year *“Our Power, Our Planet"*. Students learned about their responsibility to save power in hostel and school – switching off fans, closing taps, reducing plastic use and planting more trees. Small acts protect our Earth.
A *Painting Competition* was also held on the day. Students from all levels showcased exceptional artistic talent, expressing their thoughts and love for the planet through vibrant paintings. The event highlighted creativity and environmental awareness among the participants.

A two-day Annual Teachers Meeting by Aga khan University examination board was held at Daanish Girls School Vehari with the theme" Be a good facilitator" The purpose of this meeting was to guide teachers on how to become effective MSP facilitators rather than just traditional instructors.During these two days,different sessions were conducted focusing on:
* Student-centered learning
* Effective teaching attributes
* Classroom engagement techniques
* Assessment and feedback methods
* Challenges faced by a facilitator during the ex*****on of projects
Teachers actively participated in discussions, group activities, and presentations. They shared their classroom experiences and learned new ways to improve teaching practices.
The Aku-eb team also visited and appreciated students portfolios that helped students to evaluate their learning journey.

The Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) at Daanish School Girls Vehari was conducted successfully today. A large number of parents attended and actively participated.

Interhouse Flowering and Beautification Competition
The Interhouse Flowering and Beautification Competition was successfully held at Daanish Girls School, Vehari on 28 March 2026. The purpose of this event was to encourage aesthetic sense, creativity, and environmental awareness among the students.
All four houses— *Ayesha House, Khadija House, Fatima House, and Zainab House* —participated with great enthusiasm and dedication. Each house made remarkable efforts to decorate their assigned areas using a variety of flowers, plants, and artistic arrangements. The displays reflected a high level of creativity, teamwork, and organization.
The judging panel evaluated the performances based on predefined criteria, including creativity, presentation, neatness, and overall visual appeal. After careful assessment, *Ayesha House* was awarded the first position for its exceptional display and innovative approach. *Zainab House* secured the second position for its commendable effort and aesthetic presentation.
