*Inter-House Music Competition Held at Daanish Girls School, Mailsi vehari .*
​ Daanish Girls School, Mailsi organized an exciting Inter-House Music Competition, showcasing the musical talents of its students across two categories: Open Song and Classic Song.
​The event featured 15 talented participants representing all five school houses—Maryam, Khadija, Zainab, Ayesha, and Fatima House—with 3 students competing from each house. Performances were evaluated based on vocal control, rhythm, stage presence, and expression.

*Quaid-e-Azam's Death Anniversary – 11 September 2026*

The death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was observed at Daanish School (Girls) Vehari, on 11 September 2026 to pay tribute to the Father of the Nation and to highlight his remarkable services and sacrifices for the creation of Pakistan. The event aimed to instill a sense of patriotism, national responsibility, and respect for the principles and values advocated by Quaid-e-Azam.

During the morning assembly, students delivered presentations highlighting the life, political struggle, leadership, and achievements of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. They discussed his constitutional struggle for the rights of Muslims of the subcontinent, his role in the Pakistan Movement, and his vision of a united, peaceful, democratic, and progressive Pakistan. Students also highlighted his famous principles of *Unity, Faith, and Discipline.*
The observance reinforced the importance of following his guiding principles and working collectively for a peaceful, prosperous, and progressive Pakistan.

International Literacy Day – 8 September 2026

International Literacy Day was observed at Daanish School (Girls), on 8 September 2026 to raise awareness about the importance of literacy and its role in individual and societal development. During the morning assembly, students delivered presentations covering the introduction, history, significance, measurement of literacy rate, and literacy rates of nearby areas including Mailsi, Vehari, and Burewala. They also highlighted the impacts of increased literacy on education, employment, economic development, empowerment, and social awareness, along with suggestions for improving literacy rates.

Following the assembly, all Class Incharges conducted classroom discussions on International Literacy Day, reinforcing the importance of literacy in students’ academic, personal, and professional development.
The activity provided students with an opportunity to develop their research, public speaking, communication, and critical-thinking skills while fostering awareness of the importance of literacy for sustainable development and a progressive society.

*Pakistan Defence Day* was celebrated with patriotic fervor at *Daanish School Girls Vehari Campus.* The program began with inspiring English and Urdu speech competitions where students paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of Pakistan forces. Soulful milli songs and a graceful skit performance based on the theme of operation *Bunyan-ul-Marsoos* further kindled the spirit of nationalism. A teacher delivered a thought-provoking lecture on the significance of the day, reminding everyone of the supreme sacrifices rendered for the motherland. The school building glowed with illuminations, symbolizing pride, unity, and resilience.

An inspiring and spiritually uplifting Mehfil-e-Milad was held at دانش School (Girls) Vehari, on 25th August, 2026, featuring an Inter-House Naat and Qirat Competition where students from every house melodiously recited the first five ayats of Surah Al-Shams and presented soul-stirring Naats in their beautiful voices. Following careful evaluation by the judges, the Qirat competition concluded with Esha tu Razia of Khadija House taking 1st place, Sania Bibi of Zainab House securing 2nd, and Ayesha Zia of Zainab House earning 3rd, while Zainab House and Khadija House achieved overall house honors in Qirat; similarly, the Naat competition recognized Ayesha Asif of Zainab House in 1st place, Aneeza Saeed of Khadija House in 2nd, and Aliza Saifal of Ayesha House in 3rd, alongside Zainab House and Ayesha House claiming overall house positions in Naat. The blessed programme ultimately concluded on a serene note with a heartfelt dua for peace, unity, and prosperity, followed by Darood-o-Salam sent upon the Holy Prophet (PBUH), leaving all attendees spiritually enriched and deeply inspired.

*Independence Day Celebrations at Daanish School Girls Vehari Campus*
Daanish School Girls Vehari Campus celebrated Independence Day with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm. The academic block was beautifully decorated with lighting and national-themed decorations. The day began with special prayers for the peace and prosperity of Pakistan, followed by the flag-hoisting ceremony and cake cutting.

The formal function commenced with Quranic recitation and Naat, followed by Urdu and English speeches by students. Students also presented a patriotic Milli Naghma. A teacher delivered an informative presentation on current affairs, highlighting Pakistan’s recent achievements and proud moments to keep students updated and motivated.

The programme continued with the Principal’s address, emphasizing patriotism, unity, and responsibility towards the country. The event concluded with the National Anthem, sung with great enthusiasm by all participants.

In *Daanish School (Girls) Vehari, the *Social Evening* for the newly inducted Grade 6 students was a vibrant and memorable evening, designed to foster a sense of community and celebrate the diverse abilities of our newest learners. The event provided a lively platform where students stepped forward to showcase an array of hidden talent. In addition to these individual highlights, the atmosphere was filled with laughter and healthy competition as students enthusiastically participated in a series of engaging small games making for a joyful introduction to their new campus life.

*Daanish Girls Vehari Orientation Day 2026-2027*

Daanish School Girls, Melsi Vehari organized the 7th Orientation Day for the 2026-2027 batch. *Honourable Principal Ma’am Zarqa Suhail Rana* graced the event and warmly welcomed new students and parents.

The program began with *recitation of Holy Quran Pak* followed by *Naat-e-Rasool Maqbool ﷺ*. In her welcome address, the Principal highlighted Daanish School’s mission of quality education and presented the *boarding schedule, hostel rules, and school discipline*.

*Deputy Head, House Mistress, Assistant House Mistress, Counselling Officer, and School Doctor* were introduced. *Welcome kits* were distributed to all new students.

Parents toured the *academic building, labs, classrooms, hostel, mess hall, and dorms*. *Parents were served Rooh Afza during the program as a refreshment.* The event concluded on a gracious note with a *well-arranged lunch for all guests*. Parents left with satisfied smiles, entrusting their daughters to Daanish for a bright future.
