We were honored to host the Inspection Team from Liaquat University Hospital, including respected Dr. Mairaj Ghouri, AMS LUH, and Madam Rashida Bano, CNS LUH Hyderabad, at TIMHS Umerkot.

The team conducted a thorough review of our institute, examining academic facilities, infrastructure, and the overall learning environment.

Our BS Nursing 3rd Year, 6th Semester students from Tharparkar Institute of Medical and Health Sciences, Umerkot, completed an academic field visit to Sir CJIP & BS Hyderabad on 9th April 2026.

The visit began with a lecture by Dr. Shaista Memon on _“The Role of Nursing in Mental Health System and Services”_ at the Committee Hall.

Students then toured the Psychiatric Emergency Unit, Male & Female Rehabilitation Wards, Narcotics Ward, CBT Department, and OPD Block, observing therapies including Art & Craft, Music, Clay & Mud, and Sports Therapy.

The visit offered valuable practical exposure to psychiatric nursing, connecting classroom learning with clinical practice.

We thank Sir CJIP & BS Hyderabad and Dr. Shaista Memon for facilitating this visit.
