🌟 Successful Online Jolly Phonics Training Workshop | Minhaj Education Society – Karachi 🌟

Minhaj Education Society (MES) successfully conducted an engaging and purposeful Online Training Workshop on “Jolly Phonics” for educators from different MES schools in Karachi. The session was conducted by Miss Hira Jamil, Expert in Early Childhood Education, with a strong focus on practical phonics strategies for developing early literacy skills among young learners.

📚 The workshop focused on key areas of Jolly Phonics, including:

🔹 Learning Letter Sounds – understanding the 42 main letter sounds, including alphabet sounds and important digraphs such as sh, th, ai, and ue.
🔹 Learning Letter Formation – using multisensory techniques to help children form and write letters correctly.
🔹 Blending – developing the ability to blend sounds together to read and write new words.
🔹 Identifying Sounds in Words (Segmenting) – strengthening children's listening and spelling skills by identifying individual sounds within words.
🔹 Tricky Words – helping learners recognize and remember words with irregular spelling patterns.

🎯 The workshop aimed to equip teachers with simple, engaging, and child-friendly phonics techniques that can be applied effectively in Early Childhood and primary classrooms.
