Each One Teach One Initiative

The Honourable Minister for Elementary & Secondary Education, Mr. Arshad Ayub Khan, also introduced the “Each One Teach One” initiative, aimed at encouraging individuals to contribute to the promotion of literacy by helping others acquire basic learning skills.

The initiative is based on the principle of collective responsibility and community participation in addressing illiteracy. It seeks to encourage university students, volunteers, and community activists and individuals to support low literate in accessing learning opportunities and developing essential literacy skills.

The “Each One Teach One” initiative reflects the government’s commitment to promoting literacy and expanding learning opportunities across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through active participation and shared responsibility.

On the occasion of International Literacy Day 2026, Honourable Minister for Elementary & Secondary Education, Mr. Arshad Ayub Khan, reaffirmed the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s commitment to promoting literacy, improving quality education, increasing enrollment, and bringing out-of-school children into the education system.

He highlighted the positive outcomes of outsourcing low-performing government schools, including improved performance and increased enrollment. He also emphasized the role of the Global Virtual School in providing quality online education across the province and described the Education Card as an important initiative to expand educational opportunities for underprivileged children.

The Minister stressed that sustained efforts, effective coordination, and innovative initiatives are essential to ensuring quality, inclusive, and equitable education for every child.
