📢 KMU-CENTRALIZED ADMISSION TEST (CAT) 2026 — CORRIGENDUM

Khyber Medical University (KMU) has announced the revised schedule for the KMU-Centralized Admission Test (CAT) 2026 for admission to its Constituent and Affiliated Institutes for Session 2026–27.

🔹 2nd Test 📅 Test Date: 3rd & 4th October 2026
⏳ Registration Deadline: 28th September 2026

🔹 3rd Test 📅 Test Date: 7th & 8th November 2026
⏳ Registration Deadline: 2nd November 2026

💻 The KMU-CAT will be conducted through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) for admission to relevant undergraduate programs.

📍 Test Cities: Peshawar, Swabi, Mardan, Malakand, Swat, Dir Lower, Parachinar, Islamabad, Hazara Campus, Kohat, Bannu, D.I. Khan, Haripur and Chitral.

🎓 Eligibility: Candidates who have passed F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) or an equivalent examination, as well as candidates awaiting their results, may apply.

🌐 Registration: Candidates can apply online through the KMU admission portal: cat.kmu.edu.pk

📌 Aspiring students are advised to carefully note the revised dates and complete their registration before the respective deadlines.

Summer Examination 2026 — BSN Mid-Term Examination

The Summer Examination 2026 for students of the BSN 2nd, 4th, and 6th Semesters was successfully conducted today, Monday, 17 August 2026, at the Department of Nursing, KMU Institute of Health Sciences (IHS), Swat.

The examination was conducted in an organized and disciplined academic environment under the supervision of Mr. Marwan Khan, Coordinator, Department of Nursing, KMU IHS Swat, with the dedicated support of Mr. Aziz Ullah, Nursing Lecturer; Mr. Sayyed Nadar Shah, Nursing Lecturer; and other faculty and staff members of KMU IHS Swat.

The successful conduct of the examination reflects the institution’s continued commitment to academic excellence, transparent assessment, discipline, and quality nursing education.

🫀 PAKISTAN LIFESAVER PROGRAM (PLSP) | TRAINING SESSION 🚨

Saving a life begins with knowing what to do when every second matters.

The Pakistan Lifesaver Program (PLSP) Wing of the Social Welfare Society, KMU Institute of Health Sciences (IHS) Swat, successfully conducted a comprehensive PLSP Training Session today, 13 August 2026, for registered PLSP members and students of KMU IHS Swat.

🎯 Training Focus:
The session focused on developing essential lifesaving competencies, particularly Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), bleeding control, basic emergency response, and immediate lifesaving interventions.
