On 19 May 2026, International Nurses Day was proudly celebrated at Iqra National University Swat Campus to honor the dedication, compassion, and selfless service of nurses.
Nurses are the backbone of healthcare, serving humanity with patience, care, and commitment every day. This special day was celebrated with deep gratitude and pride to appreciate their tireless efforts and valuable contribution to society. ❤✨
The event was graced by Mr. Noor Khan Nursing Superintendent Saidu Group of Teaching Hospital, along with Abdul Dean SoN Mastan Sahib, HOD SoN Mr. Anwar Ali, Deputy Registrar Mr. Imran Khan, Assistant Director ORIC Mr. Fazal Hassan and the respected HODs, Deans of AHS and CS, and faculty members of INU Swat Campus.

The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), Iqra National University Swat Campus, organized a seminar titled “The Architecture of Wellness: Bridging Mental Health and NLP” on 18 May 2026 in the Auditorium Hall.
The session was conducted by Ms. Zarghoona Khan, Assistant Professor of Psychology, GGDC Barikot, Swat, under the supervision of Mr. Fazal Hassan, Assistant Director ORIC.
The seminar focused on mental well-being, emotional resilience, stress management, and the practical use of NLP in daily life. Students, faculty members, HODs, coordinators, and administrative staff actively participated in the session.
The seminar proved to be informative and beneficial for all participants.

International Nurses Day 2026 at IQRA National University Swat Campus

The Allied Health Sciences, MLT Department, Iqra National University Swat Campus, organized a seminar titled “Pathways to Global Opportunities” in the INU Swat Auditorium in collaboration with ORIC, INU Swat.
The seminar aimed to guide final semester students about international MS scholarships, admissions, university application portals, visa process, statement of purpose, and Gulf allied health professionals licensing. The session also highlighted licensing procedures and eligibility for UAE, KSA, and Qatar, document verification, exam preparation including HAAD, DHA, and MOH, and job opportunities abroad.
The session was conducted by speakers Mr. Aftab Ali, Mr. Shoaib Ali, and Mr. Sanaam Yousafzai, who shared useful guidance and practical information for students planning to pursue higher education and professional careers abroad.
The seminar proved to be highly informative and beneficial for final semester students, especially those interested in international admissions, scholarships, Gulf licensing, and overseas career opportunities

The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), Iqra National University Swat Campus, organized a Thalassemia Awareness Seminar in the Auditorium in collaboration with Al-Fajar Foundation and under the supervision of Mr. Fazal Hassan, Assistant Director ORIC.
The seminar aimed to create awareness among students and faculty about thalassemia prevention, blood donation, and support for thalassemia children. The session included talks on Al-Fajar Foundation, Thalassemia Prevention, and the Role of Volunteerism.
During the program, Assistant Professor Dr. Sami Ullah Khan generously donated Rs. 50,000 for thalassemia children.
At the end of the seminar, Director Campus Prof. Dr. Sheeraz Ahmed delivered the closing speech and appreciated the organizers, resource persons, volunteers, and students for their active participation. He also emphasized awareness, social responsibility, and support for children suffering from thalassemia.
The seminar proved to be informative and beneficial for all participants.
