قبل از وقت پیدا ہونے والے بچوں کی آنکھوں کی حفاظت — ROP اسکریننگ ضروری ہے

قبل از وقت پیدا ہونے والے بچے بظاہر بالکل صحت مند نظر آ سکتے ہیں، لیکن ان کی آنکھوں میں Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) خاموشی سے نشوونما پا سکتی ہے اور بروقت تشخیص و علاج نہ ہونے کی صورت میں بینائی کو شدید نقصان پہنچا سکتی ہے۔

🔴 کن بچوں میں ROP اسکریننگ خاص طور پر ضروری ہے؟
• حمل کے 34 ہفتوں سے کم عمر میں پیدا ہونے والے بچے
• پیدائشی وزن 2 کلوگرام سے کم رکھنے والے بچے
• وہ بچے جنہیں آکسیجن یا وینٹی لیٹر کی ضرورت رہی ہو
• جڑواں یا متعدد بچوں کی پیدائش
• خون کی منتقلی کی ضرورت والے بچے

⏰ یاد رکھیں: ROP میں وقت بہت اہم ہے۔
اپنے بچے کی پہلی آنکھوں کی اسکریننگ کی تاریخ NICU ٹیم سے ضرور معلوم کریں اور مقررہ وقت پر معائنہ کروائیں۔ ہسپتال سے ڈسچارج کے بعد بھی آنکھوں کے ماہر سے باقاعدہ فالو اَپ ضروری ہے۔

❤️ بچے کی بینائی محفوظ رکھنا والدین اور طبی ٹیم کی مشترکہ ذمہ داری ہے۔

💛 نوزائیدہ بچوں میں G6PD کی کمی — والدین کے لیے اہم معلومات

G6PD Deficiency ایک موروثی کیفیت ہے جس میں خون کے سرخ خلیوں کو نقصان سے بچانے والا ایک اہم انزائم کم ہوتا ہے۔ اس وجہ سے سرخ خلیے جلد ٹوٹ سکتے ہیں اور نوزائیدہ بچے میں شدید یرقان (Jaundice) اور خون کی کمی پیدا ہو سکتی ہے۔

🚨 کن علامات پر فوراً توجہ دیں؟

اگر بچے میں:
🔸 پیدائش کے پہلے دنوں میں آنکھوں یا جلد کا زیادہ پیلا ہونا
🔸 غیر معمولی سستی یا دودھ نہ پینا
🔸 رنگت کا بہت زیادہ زرد یا پیلا پڑنا
🔸 اچانک کمزوری یا بے چینی

نظر آئے تو فوراً طبی معائنہ کروائیں۔

⚠️ G6PD کی کمی میں کن چیزوں سے احتیاط ضروری ہے؟

🟡 نفتھالین/موتھ بالز:
بچے کے کپڑوں یا سامان کے ساتھ موتھ بالز استعمال نہ کریں۔

🟡 کچھ ادویات:
بعض ادویات، خصوصاً کچھ اینٹی بایوٹکس اور اینٹی ملیریا ادویات، hemolysis کا سبب بن سکتی ہیں۔ کوئی بھی دوا ڈاکٹر کے مشورے کے بغیر نہ دیں۔

🟡 حناء/مہندی:
خاص طور پر بعض اقسام کی مہندی اور Black Henna سے احتیاط کریں۔

🟡 فوا بینز (Broad/Fava Beans):
G6PD deficiency والے بچوں میں ان سے پرہیز ضروری ہے۔ دودھ پلانے والی ماؤں کے لیے بھی اس بارے میں اپنے ڈاکٹر سے مشورہ کرنا بہتر ہے۔

🩺 والدین کیا کریں؟

✅ بچے میں G6PD deficiency کی تشخیص ہونے کی صورت میں اس کا ریکارڈ محفوظ رکھیں۔
✅ ڈاکٹر، نرس یا فارماسسٹ کو ہمیشہ بتائیں کہ بچے کو G6PD deficiency ہے۔
✅ یرقان کی صورت میں گھر پر انتظار نہ کریں—فوری طبی معائنہ کروائیں۔
✅ یاد رکھیں: G6PD deficiency کے ساتھ مناسب احتیاط اور بروقت علاج سے بچے عام اور صحت مند زندگی گزار سکتے ہیں۔ 💛
