We are delighted to share glimpses from the successful Pre-Conference Workshop on:
"From Adversarial AI Theory to Practice: Prompt Injection Risks and Defences in Large Language Models"
conducted on 21st May 2026 at Sukkur IBA University as part of the activities of the 5th International Conference on Computing, Mathematics & Engineering Technologies (iCoMET 2026).
The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Sarang Shaikh, Postdoctoral Fellow at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway. Participants gained valuable insights into the rapidly evolving field of AI security, including prompt injection attacks, adversarial AI, vulnerability assessment, defensive strategies, and secure deployment of Large Language Models.
The session featured engaging discussions, practical demonstrations, and interactive exchanges that enhanced participants' understanding of emerging threats and mitigation techniques in modern AI systems.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Sarang Shaikh for sharing his expertise and to all participants, faculty members, researchers, and students whose active involvement made the workshop a great success.
We look forward to continuing such impactful learning opportunities and fostering collaboration in cutting-edge research and innovation.
