Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raji’un

It is with profound grief and sorrow to inform that Senior Advocate /member of DBA suk Syed Hussain Ali Shah Jillani has passed away today.

The District Bar Association Sukkur expresses it's deepest condolences and stands in complete solidarity with the bereaved family in this hour of immense loss. May Almighty Allah grant the departed soul eternal peace, place him in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and give strength and patience to the family to bear this irreparable loss.

Therefore, it is hereby notified that the work of all Honourable courts throughout District Sukkur shall remain suspended Today on 27.04.2026 after 10:30 A.M. as a mark of respect.

All respected members of the Bar are requested to kindly offer prayers (Dua) for the Maghfirat of the deceased.

The District Bar Association Sukkur strongly condemns the unlawful and non-transparent attempt to commercialize the Railway land bearing Plot C.S. No. 3623 (Old Godown), bunder Road Sukkur which is presently and beneficially being utilized by the general public as an open parking and amenity space, playing a crucial role in easing traffic congestion within the city.

The Railway Department is hereby called upon to immediately withdraw and cancel any ongoing or proposed auction, leasing process, or commercialization of the said land, as the same is against public interest and disregards its existing and essential use as a public amenity.

NOTIFICATION.

It is hereby notified for the information of all learned members of the Bar that, in protest against the recent increase in petroleum prices in Pakistan, the legal fraternity shall observe a complete suspension of court work on 6th April 2026 through out District Sukkur .

Furthermore, the Ehtijaj (protest demonstration) will be held in front of the District Bar Association Sukkur to express strong concern over the rising fuel prices and their adverse impact on the general public.

All members are requested to ensure their participation and full cooperation.

یہ تعطیل تمام ڈسٹرکٹ اور سول کورٹس سمیت ایکس کیڈر کورٹس اور ٹریبونلز پر لاگو ہوگی۔ اس کے علاوہ سندھ ہائی کورٹ کی پرنسپل سیٹ اور اس کے بینچز و سرکٹ کورٹس بھی بند رہیں گے، جن میں سکھر، حیدرآباد، میرپورخاص اور لاڑکانہ شامل ہیں
