The SIAM Sukkur IBA Student Chapter proudly hosted the "LaTeX Hands-on Workshop – Professional Typesetting for Mathematical and Scientific Documents" at Sukkur IBA University. The event took place on Saturday, 3rd May 2025, in Room #007, AB-V, and brought together an enthusiastic group of undergraduate & graduate students and faculty members eager to explore the power of LaTeX.

The workshop was led by Dr. Syed Hyder Ali Muttaqi Shah, who delivered three insightful sessions covering LaTeX fundamentals, advanced formatting techniques, and a hands-on mini-project. From learning basic document structures to compiling complete academic templates, participants actively engaged in live demonstrations and collaborative activities.

The event began with a warm welcome and opening remarks by the Head of the Mathematics Department, followed by a soulful recitation of the Holy Quran. The sessions were both educational and interactive, helping students gain confidence in using LaTeX for **academic writing and research documentation.
