ohaib Murad, the project Chairman and Rector UMT, was the Chief Guest. Students of various Knowledge schools of Lahore presented tableaus and sang national songs. The most prominent was the TKS Song presented first time ever. The ceremony was attended by Deans and Directors of UMT, and Directors, Principals and teachers of The Knowledge Schools. Dr Hasan highlighted the need of values-based education in the schools with an aim to producing holistically developed youngsters turning into valuable citizens of the country. He congratulated The Knowledge School team on their achievements. The Knowledge Schools have shown rapid growth in their very first year. Utilizing ILM’s strengths in education sector, The Knowledge Schools have been set up as an initiative to provide quality education at an affordable fee. Students at The Knowledge Schools are promised not only effective learning in all academic subjects but also personality grooming based on our social and moral values. Some distinctive features of The Knowledge Schools are: inclusion of “Life Skills” as a new subject in the curriculum, special focus on building English speaking culture in schools, developing children’s public speaking skill, and, above all, continuous personal and professional development of teachers which is so vital for meaningful education of children.

Empowering Our Students for a Safer Digital Future!

The Knowledge School Sohawa proudly hosted an impactful session under the Safe Online Future for Teens (SOFT) initiative, in collaboration with Shaoor Foundation, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), and TikTok.
The session engaged students and teachers, creating an interactive and engaging learning environment focused on:
✔️ Online safety
✔️ Responsible internet use
✔️ Digital wellbeing

The session aimed to strengthen digital awareness among our students—especially young girls—by equipping them with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to navigate the online world safely and respond effectively to potential risks. It also highlighted the importance of guiding parents and teachers on parental controls and reporting mechanisms for responsible internet use.

We were honored to have Mr. Qaiser Mahmood (Divisional Coordinator, Punjab Commission on the Status of Women, Rawalpindi Division) as the trainer, who delivered the session through interactive activities and real-life examples.

The school management sincerely appreciates the efforts of all stakeholders for organizing such a timely and much-needed session for our students.

آج Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) کی جانب سے The Knowledge School Sohawa میں “Safe Future for Teens” کے حوالے سے ایک اہم تربیتی سیشن منعقد کیا گیا، جس میں طلبہ اور اساتذہ کو مفید رہنمائی فراہم کی گئی۔

اس سیشن میں بچوں کو بتایا گیا کہ وہ اپنی ڈیجیٹل زندگی میں خود کو کس طرح محفوظ بنا سکتے ہیں۔ انہیں سکھایا گیا کہ سوشل میڈیا کا محتاط استعمال کریں، اپنی ذاتی معلومات کسی کے ساتھ شیئر نہ کریں، مضبوط پاس ورڈ استعمال کریں، اور کسی بھی مشکوک لنک یا پیغام سے دور رہیں۔

مزید یہ بھی آگاہی دی گئی کہ اگر وہ کسی بھی مشکل، جیسے کہ آن لائن ہراسانی (cyberbullying)، فراڈ، یا کسی نامناسب مواد کا شکار ہو جائیں تو فوراً اپنے والدین، اساتذہ یا متعلقہ اداروں سے رابطہ کریں اور مدد حاصل کریں۔

اس تربیت کا مقصد بچوں کو باخبر، ذمہ دار اور محفوظ ڈیجیٹل شہری بنانا تھا تاکہ وہ مستقبل میں ایک محفوظ اور کامیاب زندگی گزار سکیں۔
