Tomato Plant Observation and Door Motif Craft Activity

Learning is significantly enhanced when children transcend the confines of textbooks and engage in experiential learning through hands-on activities.
Today, our students at Farm 🌵🌿🌱🌾 participated in an interactive tomato🍅 planting session, complemented by a creative door motif craft project.

Activity Objectives and Benefits

Connecting with Nature: The tomato planting session was carefully designed to introduce children to the fascinating realm of botany and agriculture, teaching them the fundamentals of plant growth, soil care, and the importance of nurturing living organisms.

Sensorial and Motor Development: Through the processes of digging, planting, and watering, students refined their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and tactile awareness.

Creativity and Expression: The door motif craft allowed children to channel their imagination, exploring colors, patterns, and spatial design while enhancing their artistic expression.

Responsibility and Patience: Caring for their plants fosters a sense of accountability, teaching young minds the value of patience and the rewarding results of consistent effort.
