AKRSP supported the local community of Parabak village in Chitral in improving the irrigation channel, benefiting more than 4,000 residents who had long struggled with a severe water crisis. Since its inception, AKRSP has helped local communities in Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral rehabilitate and construct hundreds of irrigation channels, enhancing agricultural productivity, ensuring water availability, improving livelihoods, and developing barren lands for cultivation.
