Today, 9-6-2026, Khawaja Muhammad Safdar Medical College Sialkot held a session to condemn the recent acid attack on a lady doctor in Quetta.

Led by 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙛. 𝘿𝙧. 𝙃𝙪𝙢𝙖 𝙆𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣𝙞 𝙎𝙖𝙞𝙜𝙤𝙡 (Principal KMSMC), faculty and medical students gathered to express solidarity with all healthcare workers who face violence.

Delivered a compelling presentation on the growing threat of violence against doctors, its impact on healthcare delivery, and the urgent need for protective legislation and security.

An attack on one doctor is an attack on all of us.
We demand safety, dignity, and accountability.
Hospitals must remain safe spaces for healing - not fear.

The session concluded with a special dua for the speedy recovery of our respected colleague, undergoing treatment in Karachi, and for the safety of the entire medical community.

𝘿𝙧. 𝙎𝙖𝙧𝙛𝙧𝙖𝙯 𝘼𝙝𝙢𝙖𝙙, HOD Radiology, walked us through the CT & MRCP findings that made conservative management the right call.

In paediatric trauma, restraint can be revolutionary. With vigilant monitoring, drainage when needed, and team-based care, high-grade liver injuries and bilomas can heal without surgery.
