‪An Imām in Palestine who leads the Tarāwīḥ prayers in Ramaḍān said: “There is a person who always attends the first row who has Down Syndrome which is why his voice can be loud sometimes, and other times, he does rukūʾ and sujūd without the Imām. And when I raise from rukūʾ and say ‘Samiʾa Llāhu liman Ḥamidah’ (Allāh listens to whom praises Him), that person innocently cries out loud: ‘Do you hear me Allāh?’ And when we do prostration, he innocently cries out loud: ‘I love you Allāh!’”‬

‪A person with Down Syndrome worships Allāh better than us; it is truly us who are down. His example given is what we call Iḥsān. He does not just worship Allāh; he loves Allāh.‬
