The Department of Physics is one of the most diverse department at division of science and technology (DsNT), Township campus in terms of the research interests/expertise of academic staff. The department was established in 2008 and currently there are 12 faculty members (1 Professor, 5 Associate Professors and 6 Assistant Professors). Department of Physics offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degree programs in Pure and Applied domains of Physics. Department of Physics is equipped with 7 academic and research labs (including Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Modern Physics, Electronics and Digital Electronics, Computational Physics, Material Synthesis, Nuclear and environmental Physics, Electrochemical Devices and Energy Storage lab) with latest equipment which helps students to understand basic concepts and hands-on laboratory training at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Physics department frequently arranges seminars and conferences in almost all domains of Physics to provide in-depth knowledge and current challenges to students. Other than academic activities Physics department encourage students to take part in extracurricular activities such sports, community services (by The Physicists society) etc. to develop their leadership skills and involve within community to make impact in daily life.

1. As you all know that FSC papers are going to held, you should attempt the papers very well so that you can be eligible for admission in nursing.

2. _*Just as MCAT is a prerequisite for admission in MBBS, similarly it is necessary to clear Nursing Test (NCAT) this year to take admission in Nursing and after that you will be eligible for admission in Nursing.*_

3. Like admission in MBBS, now for nursing admission also you have to get your documents verified by IBBC. It is better to get your documents verified before admission so that you do not face any problem later.
4. Nursing has now changed from Annual System to Semester System. There will be no relaxation for absence and 90-95 percent attendance will be required to appear in the final term exam.
5. There will be biometric attendance now.
6. 6000 seats (5800 for females and 200 for males) / Admissions will be announced in newspaper advertisment by Punjab Health Foundation in September - October 2024.
7. Admission process will be completed in December 2024.
8. Commencement of classes will be from 1st January 2025.
