The staff of Hira City School recognizes that students are in the middle of an unique transition stage from childhood to adolescence. For Early Elementary grades, the student must have reached her/his birthday for the appropriate grade by October 1. Pre-Kindergarten 4 years by October 1
Kindergarten 5 years by October 1
Grade 1 6 years by October 1
Grade 2 7 years by October 1
and so on…. Student achievement levels and grade levels from former schools are always considered as well, and the final decisions regarding admissions/placements are made by the school Administration. All students participate in coursework including: arts, social studies, science, math, physical education, art, ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) , languages (Urdu or English). Students are also offered a variety of in-school and after-school programs. Students have a very popular sports program that emphasizes participation and sportsmanship while teaching game skills.
