Students from GGCHS Sann showcased their talent by reaching the regional level of the Lateef Shanasi Competition, held in Hyderabad on 24-02-2026. This event holds a special place in my heart, as it is connected to our great Sindhi poet Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, a significant cultural symbol of Sindh. One of our most talented students reemas Shah first secured first position at the district-level competition held in January and then went on to perform at the regional level. However, it is unfortunate that merit was not fully upheld, which raises concerns about the overall quality of performances. Today, at GGCHS Sann semis code 422040177 , under the supervision of madam Khursheed burriro we proudly held our annual Result Day, celebrating the achievements of our students with enthusiasm and joy. Trophies were awarded to the position holders, and we deeply appreciate our teachers for their dedication and hard work that made this event possible. We had also invited mothers to join us on this special occasion; however, very few attended. This is concerning—parental involvement is vital for the growth and progress of our institution. Without active support from the community, it becomes difficult to overcome the challenges we face, including a shortage of teachers and the absence of non-teaching staff. As we close this academic year and look ahead to a new session filled with hope and determination, we encourage everyone—students, parents, and staff—to work together for a stronger, more vibrant educational environment

Achievement of GGHS Sann – STEAM School Journey semis code 422040177

GGHS Sann has successfully completed Level 15 of the STEAM School Journey and entered Cycle 2. It is a matter of great pride that GGHS Sann is the first school in District Jamshoro to achieve this milestone. Belong to rural areas of jamshoro , As the focal person, I feel extremely happy and proud of this accomplishment.

Our school has faced many challenges. There is a serious shortage of teachers, and more than half of the teachers travel daily from Hyderabad, covering around 80 kilometers to come to school and another 80 kilometers to return home using local transport. Despite these difficulties, they continue their duties with dedication.

We also do not have any non-teaching staff. Therefore, we had to hire a maid and a peon privately, and the teachers collectively contribute from their own salaries to pay them.

Personally, I have tried to support the school not only financially but also by arranging basic facilities through community support and donations.
Alhamdulillah, with the support of teachers and the community, most of our basic issues have now been resolved, except for the need of a solar system for electricity and lighting.

Despite all these challenges, we have achieved this important milestone. This success shows that with sincerity, teamwork, and strong determination, any goal can be achieved. school steam journey

My dear friend Samreen Lakhair, like her great father Dr. Khadim Hussain Lakhair, has been very philanthropic to the society. She has been very kind and generous to us . Sometimes back when she visited our school GGHS Sann she realised the need of better drinking water facility in the school, so she donated electric Water Cooler for our students, and promised to continue to support us. Recently, she has donated a White Board, a standard size Speaker & an Internet Device for the students to make use of the modern technology.
We are really grateful to her for this generosity and kindness. May Allah bless her always! ( 6 year ago memory )

Government Girls Higher Secondary School Sann (SEMIS Code: 422040177), Taluka Manjhand, District Jamshoro, has proudly achieved the Best School position in STEAM progress and has become the first school to reach the Star Level, marking a historic milestone for Sann. This remarkable achievement reflects the dedication, teamwork, and commitment of the entire school staff. As the STEAM focal person, it is a moment of great pride to witness this success under the supervision and guidance of Headmaster Khursheed Buriro and the sincere efforts of teachers Safeena Samoo, Urooj Samoo, Bushra Mallah, Sapna Kandhro, Kashmala Kandhro, and Mumtaz Joyo. Proud moment for the talented students of GGHS SANN semis code 422040177, who secured 3rd Position in the “Imagine Your Ride Challenge” at the District STEAM Muqablo 2026!

Their winning project, “SafeHer Comfort ( chingchi)” is specially designed to make travel safer, easier, and more comfortable for girls, children, and elderly passengers. This innovative model includes step-style stairs for easy boarding, a safety door and protective side guards for secure travel, and a wide, stable seat to ensure maximum comfort. For night safety, the chingchi is equipped with bright reflectors, making it clearly visible and helping prevent accidents.

The most remarkable feature is its anti-vibration design, created to reduce shaking and provide a smooth ride. Students practically tested their model using a coin stability test to demonstrate reduced vibration and a torch light test to prove reflector visibility. It also includes a moveable sunroof, allowing passengers to enjoy pleasant weather while staying protected when need( the hard work and efforts done by this project is bushra Mallah jest at GGHS SANN muqabelo district round
