CCS organised a lecture on Career Counselling held on 16 May 24 at Iqbal Auditorium. Lt Cdr Saeed PN from Pakistan Marine Academy graced the event as Guest Speaker. The program was attended by Faculty and Cadets. The Guest Speaker highlighted the significance of Merchant Navy as a career opportunity. The combination of strategic advice, offered a holistic perspective, equipping cadets with knowledge and motivation. After the lecture, the Guest Speaker answered the questions raised by the Cadets

CLOSING CEREMONY OF IDSC 2023-24.
An impressive Closing Ceremony of Inter Division Sports Championship (IDSC) 2023-24, was held on 15 May 24. Dr Farida Shaikh, Principal Bakhtawar Cadet College for Girls Shaheed Benazirabad (Nawabshah), graced the ceremony as Chief Guest. The colourful ceremony commenced with various splendid sports events i.e. 100 & 200 Meter Races, Tug of War, Tent Pe***ng and Horse Show Jumping. Earlier, Commodore Zeeshan Ali SI(M) Commandant CCS, in his welcome address thanked the Chief Guest for sparing her valuable time and highlighted the significance of healthy sport activities at CCS. The Chief Guest in her address appreciated and lauded the efforts of CCS administration for the magnificent conduct of IDSC and meticulous arrangements for the closing ceremony. She advised the cadets that they should remain focused on physical fitness along with their studies because a sound mind resides in a sound body. The Chief Guest congratulated the M. A. Jinnah Division on clinching IDSC Trophy 2023-24 and Allama I. I. Kazi Division for being Runner-up. In the end, the Chief Guest presented Medals & Shields to the winning cadets & divisions and declared the Sports Championship 2023-24 "Closed" followed by lowering of divisional colours. After ceremony, the Chief Guest performed tree plantation and endorsed her remarks in visitors' book.

Prize Distribution Ceremony for High Achievers/ Position Holders of Terminal Exam 2023-24 of all Classes (VIII-XII) was held on 15 May 24 at CCS. Professor Feroz Gul Khoso, Director of Studies & Professor Manzoor Qadir, Vice Principal, CCS distributed certificates among all cadets who obtained 80% & more marks.

Prize Distribution Ceremony for Position Holders of Terminal Exam 2023-24 for all Classes was held on 15 May 24 at Iqbal Auditorium, CCS. Syed Muhammad Sajjad Hyder, Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad, graced the event as the Chief Guest. Upon his arrival, he was presented guard of honour by smartly turned out cadets followed by introduction of Faculty members. Commodore Zeeshan Ali, SI(M) Commandant/ Principal CCS, in his welcome address, expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest for sparing his valuable time. The Chief Guest presented Shields to the position holders of Terminal Examination 2024. In his address, he congratulated all the prize winners and position holders . He also awarded cash prize to the employee of month, Mr Muhammad Nawaz (Nanbai). The Cheif Guest also lauded the dedicated endeavours of faculty members, staff and college administration for shining academic results of Cadets in Internal and BISE Examination. Earlier, the Chief Guest proceeded to Fatima Jinnah School at CCS, where he inaugurated 10 KW Solar System and performed Tree plantation. The Chief Guest had also walk round of the College and endorsed his remarks in visitors' book.

Cadet College Sanghar organised a lecture on Blue Economy on 19 Apr 24 at Iqbal Auditorium. Captain Rashid Nazir PN, Director Maritime Policy Research & Environmental Control, graced the event as Guest Speaker. He delivered an insightful lecture on Blue Economy and highlighted the significance of Maritime awareness which guarantees the prosperity of the country's economy. Furthermore, the Guest Speaker said that Pakistan is an ideal Maritime state to support country's sustainable economic growth because of its ideal geographical location in the world. After the lecture, cadets actively participated in question & answer session. Commodore Zeeshan Ali SI(M) Commandant/ Principal CCS expressed his gratitude to Guest Speaker for conducting a knowledgeable session on the Blue Economy. At the end, he performed Tree Plantation and signed a Visitor’s Book.

KHATAM-UL-QURAN
CCS organised an event on the eve of Khatam-ul-Quran in Taraveeh Namaz at CCS Masjid held on 31 Mar 24. Commodore Zeeshan Ali SI(M), Commandant/ Principal, CCS graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest. The cadets recited Naat and amused audience with their pleasant voice. Lt Muhammad Sarwar PN, RMO & Mr. Abdul Aziz, HoD Islamiyat also delivered lectures to highlight the importance of the sacred night for the Muslims and advised cadets to get maximum benefit of this Holy night. Commandant/ Principal CCS also advised the Cadets & Staff to seek blessings, spiritual rewards, and a deeper connection with Allah Almighty through the recitation and contemplation of the entire Holy Qur'an. At the end, sweets were distributed among the cadets and staff. The College Mosque was also illuminated with fairy lights during night.

CCS organised a lecture on ISSB Guidelines held on 21 Mar 24 at Iqbal Auditorium. Colonel Zulfiqar Ali Khan, Commandant ISSB Malir graced the event as Guest Speaker. He delivered comprehensive lecture to the Cadets of XI & XII Classes on personality development, career counselling and ISSB guidelines. He also gave advice to teachers how to help cadets to improve personalities traits and leadership skills. The Guest Speaker also answered the questions raised by Cadets. He also had Iftar with Cadets. At the end, he performed tree plantation and signed a visitor's book.

CCS organised a lecture on Istaqbal-e-Ramzan held on 18 Mar 24 at Iqbal Auditorium. Cdre Zeeshan Ali SI(M), Commandant/ Principal CCS graced the program as Chief Guest. Moulana Zahoor Ahmed Memon, Prinicpal Jamia Dar ul Uloom, Al-Madina Hala & Iqra`Roza Tul Atfaal, Hala, was invited as Guest Speaker, who enlightened the Cadets and Staff on the importance of Ramzan & also highlighted the significance of Fasting. The Guest Speaker also answered the questions raised by the Cadets. Cadet College Sanghar organised a seminar on Contemporary Environmental Issues and Requirement of Mass Tree Plantation Drives on 01 Mar 24. Mr. Ayhan Mustafa bhutto DG Climate and Environment was invited as a Guest Speaker, who enlightened the Cadets and Staff on topic Effects of Climate Change on Pakistan. At the end of the lecture, Cadets and Faculty participated actively in Q&A session. On the same day, an awareness walk was also organised from Iqbal Auditorium to Orchard II which was attended by Commandant, Guest Speaker, Faculty, Staff & Cadets of CCS. As a part of clean green CCS, Cadets and Staff participated in Tree Plantation Drive in which 800 X plants were planted at different places of the college.
