Department of Humanities at COMSATS University Islamabad, Sahiwal Campus organized an Intra-Departmental Naat and Qirat Competition on March 5, 2026, at B14 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The event aimed to promote students’ interest in Qur’anic recitation and Naat while encouraging them to express their talents and spiritual values.

Students participated enthusiastically in both categories. Their recitations created a respectful and spiritually uplifting atmosphere.

The competition was judged by Dr. Benish Sarwar and Dr. Arslan Safdar Dogar, who evaluated the participants on voice quality, pronunciation, and presentation. The event was also honored by the presence of Dr. Israr Ahmad, Head of the Department of Management Sciences, and Dr. Shahid Qaiser, Head of Student Affairs.

Special thanks were extended to Mr. Muhammad Badar Iqbal, Head of the Department of Humanities, for his support, and to all the faculty members of the Department of Humanities for their presence and encouragement.

The event concluded successfully and provided students with a valuable platform to showcase their abilities and confidence.

She delivered a focused session on key aspects of dissertation writing, including topic selection, research structure, methodology, and academic writing practices. The workshop was attended by the Head of Department, Mr. Badar Iqbal, along with faculty members, and concluded with an interactive discussion. The session was appreciated for its clarity and practical academic guidance.
