RESPONSIBILITY OF HEAD OF INSTITUTE FOR TEACHERS REPORTED ABSENT BY
EMA DURING THEIR VISITS.
I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to state that in case any teacher
from your school is reported absent during visits by the Education Monitoring Authority (EMA), you
will be the held responsible If the reported teacher was on sanctioned leave, exam duty, or officially
detailed to another station, This is the responsibility of the head of the institution to keep the relevant
record readily available, duly mark the status in the attendance register, clarify and resolve the
matter with the visiting EMA team before the signature during their visit to your institution. In case of
failure the penalty imposed upon the reporting head of the institution instead of the teacher.
