Teachers often recognize gaps or “missing practices” in their instructional approach, but lack a systematic method to examine, test, and improve these practices.

This model positions action research as a teacher-empowering framework that transforms everyday classroom challenges into opportunities for professional growth and improved student learning. The missing practice by teacher. look into the practice
Action research empowers teachers through a continuous spiral of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Teachers identify a classroom issue, implement a planned action across grades, observe its impact on teaching and learning, and reflect to improve practice. Each cycle leads to a revised plan, ensuring ongoing improvement in educational quality.

Mathematics is not inherently a difficult subject; rather, it often appears challenging because of the way it is presented and taught. To address this concern, mathematics education researchers have proposed several influential theoretical perspectives. Jerome Bruner emphasized stages of representation in learning, Jean Piaget explained mathematical understanding through age-related cognitive development, and Edward Dubinsky introduced the APOS theory to describe the mental construction of mathematical concepts. David Tall further elaborated different levels of the learning process and explained the inner nature of mathematical thinking through his theory of the three worlds of mathematics. For geometry learning and teaching the best model was developed Van Heile Model. In addition, Dindyal and Stacey contributed valuable insights by highlighting the role of curriculum design, classroom practices, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning in making mathematics meaningful and accessible to learners.
