📢 FBISE Announces New Paper Pattern for Class 9 (2027)
The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has introduced a revised examination pattern for Class 9, bringing significant changes to assessment structure and marking criteria.
🔹 Total Theory Marks Reduced:
The written exam will now carry 60 marks instead of 75.
🔹 Part A – Objective (30 Marks):
Students will attempt 60 MCQs, focusing on conceptual understanding rather than rote learning.
🔹 Part B – Subjective (30 Marks):
The paper will include 5 long questions (6 marks each), with structured sub-parts.
🔹 Important Note:
These 60 marks cover theory only; practical marks will be assessed separately.
This new pattern emphasizes concept-based learning, analytical skills, and deeper understanding of subjects.
