نمل راولپنڈی کیمپس میں اردو زبان اور صحافت کے فروغ کے لیے ایک معلوماتی اور فکری سیمینار کا انعقاد کیا گیا، جس میں ممتاز صحافی ظہیر الدین بابر اور سلمان عاصف نے شرکت کی۔ مقررین نے اردو صحافت، میڈیا کی زبان، آزادیٔ اظہار اور اردو کے مستقبل پر اپنے قیمتی خیالات کا اظہار کیا۔

اس سیمینار کا مقصد طلبہ میں اردو زبان کی اہمیت کو اجاگر کرنا اور میڈیا میں اس کے مثبت استعمال کی حوصلہ افزائی کرنا تھا۔ طلبہ نے بھرپور دلچسپی سے شرکت کی اور سیشن کو بے حد سراہا۔

The Department of Media and Communication Studies successfully organized a Faculty Development Program on "Integrating AI in Media and Communication in Research Methodologies". The session was conducted by Dr Fauzia Ajmal, Associate Professor, Department of Education, IIUI, who shared valuable insights and hands-on training on AI tools. The interactive session also focused on HEC policy regarding AI and the responsible integration of AI in teaching and classroom assignments. Faculty members actively participated and appreciated the practical learning experience.

The Department of Media & Communication Studies organized an insightful seminar on "Lack of Emotional Intelligence in Youth" as part of our final year project, featuring Khurram Alvi as the guest speaker.

The session highlighted the importance of emotional intelligence, including self-awareness, empathy, communication, and self-regulation, while also discussing modern challenges such as device addiction and information overload. Valuable examples from Islamic teachings made the discussion even more meaningful and relatable for students.

The Department of Media and Communication Studies successfully organized an insightful seminar on "Future of Media Entrepreneurship in the Age of Post Truth: Trends and Creator" featuring Moiz Faiz Sial and Talha Aslam.

The session highlighted the evolving landscape of traditional and digital media, the influence of social media algorithms, media entrepreneurship, and the role of media in shaping public opinion in today’s digital age. Students actively participated in an engaging discussion and Q&A session, making the event both informative and inspiring.

Semester 6 students successfully conducted an interactive Canva Workshop, sharing creative skills and design techniques with confidence and passion. Proud to see innovation, teamwork, and creativity come to life through student-led learning.
