Purpose of the Activity:

The purpose of this rhyming word sort activity was to help students recognize and understand words that have the same ending sounds. It aimed to develop their listening and phonics skills, build early reading ability, and strengthen their understanding of word patterns in a fun and engaging way. By matching rhyming words, students also improved their vocabulary and confidence in identifying similar-sounding words.

This helped them recognize shapes and understand their properties better.
