چاند کی باتیں کرتے ہی سب سورج کو بھول گئے
کم ظرف قسم کے لوگ یہاں عزت پا کر پھول گئے
رخ بدلہ وقت نے اور حکم ہوا رحمان کا تو
منصور جیسے عاشق بھی سولی پر جھول گئے
کہہ دو ان فرعونوں سے یہ طاقت ان کی وقتی ہے
یہاں ابابیل بھی ہاتھیوں کو، چٹوا دھول گئے
یہاں منصف ہیں بازی گر اور نفس پرست اونچے لوگ
جو اندھے ہو کر طاقت کے نشہ میں لکھ قاتل کو مقتول گئے
بن کر اپنی زبان تو عادیؔ مت دیکھ تو لوگوں کے کردار
تو کر حساب اپنا، تیرے کتنے اعمال مقبول ہوئے
