As part of the Corporate to Campus Series, the EMBA Class of 2024 and 2025 at NBS hosted Mr. Ammar Khalid Mahmood, Head of Consumer Business at ACMETEL, for an engaging session on Pricing Analytics in the Telecommunications Sector.
The discussion offered deep perspectives on two critical metrics shaping telecom strategy: ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) and CLV (Customer Lifetime Value). These metrics inform pricing architecture, customer segmentation, and long term profitability. A key takeaway for students was understanding the data flow from raw data to analytics dashboards and ultimately into pricing decisions.
Students also explored how firms are moving beyond static pricing toward behavior driven models, leveraging retention patterns, micro segmentation, and service bundling to enhance customer value.
NBS extends its sincere gratitude to Mr. Ammar for sharing industry insights and challenging our students to think beyond formulas.
