FTJ/DUMS is equivalent to BUMS.
No doubt India an oldest literate society did its best in almost all sectors of life. IT, industry, agriculture all are advancing with a rapid pace. So do they did best when equating Unani Tibb qualifications. Oldest system and without any doubt the pioneers in Unani Tibb and Homeopathic education far before division of subcontinent. They the pioneers that produce Unani Tibb Physicians in the world. When the system of education went to Universities logically they equated the FTJ/DUMS as BUMS. Why? Because the intellectuals of India know that they had produce Physicians and NOT LSMF or Midlevel health workers. They give them, the respect what they deserve.
However in Pakistan the system went mostly in the hands of corrupt mafias of so called Unani/Tibbiya colleges/ politically motivated less academic associations and above all pseudo intellectuals that know nothing about history/limitation of medical education/academics but knows very well how to make puppet the intellectually inferior legislatures. As like most of the corrupt and illiterate Unani Tibb stakeholders so do the ministers and ministries.

Unconcerned with the boundaries of medical education and safety of public health they have agreed to do a business that generate profit. To run the Public massacre business, they fool the foolish ministers to raise the age limit and sometime they deregulate the minimum admission criteria or they omit the conditions put in favour of the grace of education of Unani Tibb.
Recently the fool ministries repeated the same history by giving the permission of a high school level course that has no place in the Benchmark of Unani Tibb by WHO.
We have bring the extract from the Indian book referencing the same FTJ/DUMS qualification. See how they grace the medical qualification of Unani Tibb that surely the MBBS of that time. What our illiterate council is doing in the name of progress of Unani Tibb is evident to all of us. They are producing and endorsing Quacks as Unani Tibb Physicians.
No matriculate base admitted person is equivalent to a Physician, neither a proper FTJ course can be degraded to inferior levels just to fulfil the desires of Quacks. FTJ is only Equivalent to BUMS, those who want its lower equivalencies must be revoked with Physician status as well as scope of practice as Unani Tibb Practitioners. India has resolved the issue almost a decades before now its Pakistan turn. Manipulate it and develop disgrace for our beloved homeland or take action as like civilized societies.
The illiteracy is such as extent that Pakistani Unani Tibb PhDs and matriculate FTJ are at the same mental and intellectual level. This is alarming and disastrous for Unani Tibb in Pakistan. Coat/Patlons Sir jee does not highlight your intellectual level, its you wisdom and academic intellect that raise you. Unfortunately seems you have butchers intellect.
