GRACE EDUCATION LEARNING SYSTEM SCHOOL, RAWALPINDI ORGANIZES EYE CHECKUP CAMP “Of all the senses, sight must be the most delightful.” Our eyesight is one of our most important senses. 80% of what we perceive comes through our sense of sight. To create awareness among the students regarding eyecare; the school Management and the Principal Qasim Amin Qalyami organized an eye-checkup camp on 30 September 2022 in the school premises. Students were informed well in advance for the smooth conduct of the camp. Doctors Of Al Shifa Eye Trust along with their team mates examined nearly 280 students. All the students received optical prescriptions. The objective of this event was to spread awareness of eye disorder, its early detection, detect refractive errors and eye ailments among students and its prevention. The Principal cautioned the students to reduce screen time than the last two years when it was unavoidable and a necessity. On the whole, students understood the importance of preserving vision for life.
