Learning to paint trees can be very tricky and it takes alot of practice to get it right.The technique we learnt was much quicker.The idea of my Art Club is to teach my students as many techniques as possible.The more they explore the more they learn.
This activity was a bit messy but the students enjoyed the process and the results were amazing too.

Students learnt blending of reds ,oranges and yellows in the right consistently to create the background.
Silhouette paintings look like shadows. They are typically made in just black and white, for high contrast. The darker color is used for the positive form of the subject, and the lighter color is used for the background.

Another Friday another activity, learnt a new technique.
We created a background with bold strokes using thick acrylic paint.The Calligraphy was superimposed using stencils.
Working with kids (any age) is always such a joy , a sense of fulfilment.
