# The Qur'an

Allah commands us to read the Quran because the Quran is light (Nur), healing (Shifa), and mercy (Rahma).....!!!
Allah says:-
"And we send down of the Quran that which is healing and mercy for the believers"โฆ..!!!
[Surah Al-Isra 17:82]
The benefits of reading the Quran are numerous and we attain mercy just by listening to it.....!!!
Allah says:-
"And when the Quran is recited, listen and be quiet so that you will attain mercy"...!!!
[Surah Al-A'raf, 7:204]

The Qur'an is my best friend...It always calms me down... Whenever I have felt sadness there is something about when the Qur'an enters your Heart that takes away any worldly negativity...!!!
