The state of Bahawalpur laid down the foundation of this college in “Town Hall” in 1948. The College was shifted to the present building in 1954. It became a degree college in 1962. A resolution was passed in National Assembly in 1970 regarding the name. It was named after the famous Sufi Poet Kh. کے سلسلے میں ٹیبل ٹینس انٹر ڈویژن صوبائی لیول کے مقابلے بہاولپور میں منعقد ہوئے ، جس میں پنجاب بھر کی 9 ڈویژنز کی ٹیموں نے حصہ لیا۔
💞 گورنمنٹ خواجہ فرید گریجویٹ کالج کے بی ایس انگلش 5th سیمسٹر کے ہونہار طالب علم مشاہد حسین نے بہاولپور ڈویژن کی نمائندگی کی، جس میں انٹر ڈویژن صوبائی لیول مقابلے بہاولپور ڈویژن نے فائینل میچ میں سرگودھا ڈویژن کو زبردست مقابلے کے بعد ہرا کر گولڈ میڈل 🏅 حاصل کیا، اور ٹیبل ٹینس میں جیت کی روایت برقرار رکھی۔۔
