Post Graduate College is located in the heart of the City Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab, Pakistan. It is named after the famous Sufi Poet Khawaja Ghulam Fareed. Rahim Yar Khan is the most beautiful & well established city of South Punjab, Pakistan. Rahim Yar Khan was declared as a separate administrative district in 1943. The district derived its name from its head quarter Rahim Yar Khan. The previous name was Noushehra which was built by Fazi Elahi Halani in 1875 on the ruins of the ancient Pul-Wadda during the Sumra Rule in Sindh. Later Nawab Sadiq Khan Abbasi IV of Bahawalpur renamed it after his son Rahim Yar Khan. This city is bounded on the north by Muzafargarh district, on the east by Bahawalpur district, on the north by Jasilmir (India) and Ghotki district of Sindh Province and on the west by Rajanpur district.
