A visit was made to Govt. Graduate College for Women, Rahim Yar Khan to chalk out plan for plantation of different outdoor plants in the newly prepared grounds and newly constructed graduate blocks. The dedication of principal in this regard was appreciated as she is fully enthusiastic to convert the deserted plots into green lawns.

Prof. Saadia Rashid, Deputy Director Colleges Rahim Yar Khan visited the venue at Govt. Associate College for Boys, Sadiqabad for training of Assistant Presiding Officers and Polling Officers for General Elections to the Provincial Assembly of Punjab. She further ensured the presence of all the nominated officers/officials and checked the necessary arrangements. The arrangements made by the venue host were appreciable.

Getting the Services Delivered.

1- Complying with the vision of the interim CM, office of Deputy Director Colleges, Rahim Yar Khan is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring the public service delivery and encouragement of teaching and non-teaching staff through their long-awaited promotions.
In the earlier few days, different promotion cases of teaching staff have been finalized for the grades 17 to 18, 18 to 19 & 19 to 20, during the Eid Holidays. A week later, another streak of promotion cases is under process where cases of teaching staff from grade 17 to 18 (Male/Female) are to be placed in the upcoming DPC in HED.
Simultaneously, promotion cases of non-teaching staff have also been a prime concern of DDC office under dynamic administration of Prof. Saadia Rashid, Deputy Director Colleges Rahim Yar Khan. In the non-teaching cadre, promotion cases from class-IV to Junior Clerks, Junior Clerks to Senior Clerks, Senior Clerks to Head Clerks are being prepared and finalized indifferenting day and nights. The passionate and dedicated staff is working late at nights to facilitate the deprived staff. Promotion cases from Superintendent to Extra Assistant Director have also been submitted to the department for timely consideration. DDC office never ignored the Lab Staff as their cases are under consideration as well.

2- Panels for posting of the Principals at the vacant posts are also being finalized side by side in addition to the above efforts.

Complying with instructions of HED Punjab, office of Deputy Director Colleges Rahim Yar Khan conducted a successful training session on use of e-registration portal for registration of private colleges and resolved related issues in a timely manner.

Worthy Secretary Higher Education Department, South Punjab honored District Rahim Yar Khan with his long-awaited visit. He was warmly welcomed by Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim, Director of Education Colleges, Bahawalpur and Mrs. Saadia Rashid Deputy Director Colleges Rahim Yar Khan.
During his one day tour to Rahim Yar Khan, he visited Govt. Khawaja Fareed Graduate College, Rahim Yar Khan., Khwaja Farid University of Engineering & Information Technology, Rahim Yar Khan and Govt. Graduate College for Women, Rahim Yar Khan. He emphasized on the moral character of students and digitalization of public sector colleges. It was also briefed to the worthy Secretary about the missing facilities and new academic blocks required at Govt. Khawaja Farid Gradute College, Rahim Yar and the unfunded scheme of Govt. Graduate College for Women, Rahim Yar Khan. Dr. Muhammad Suleman Tahir, VC KFUEIT, Muhammad Tasleem DDC Bahawalpur, Dr. Khalid Mahmood Principal Govt khawaja Farid Gradute College RYK and Mrs. Shamim Shabbir Principal Govt Graduate College W Rahim Yar Khan were also present there.
Higher Education Department and office of Deputy Director Colleges Rahim Yar Khan are very much committed to achieve the set goals for the educational requirements of students and to meet with the modern and advanced parameters to overcome gulfs available therein.

Worthy Deputy Director (Colleges) Rahim Yar Khan 𝙈𝙧𝙨. 𝙎𝙖𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙖 𝙍𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙙 inaugurated the Plantation Campaign at Govt. Associate College for Girls, Kot Samaba (Gacw Kotsamaba) today dated 10.03.2023 (𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙮) along with the Principal and staff of the college.

Director (Planning & Development), Division Bahawalpur inaugurated the newly purchased buses and coasters for colleges of City Rahim Yar Khan. He also handed over the keys to newly purchased vehicles to Principals of the beneficiary colleges. Mrs. Saadia Rashid, Deputy Director Colleges, Rahim Yar Khan, being head of the project, briefed the media about the importance of this mega project worth amounting to Rupees 490.00 Millions. Mr. Qamar Iqbal, Assistant Director (Colleges), Rahim Yar Khan, Dr. Khalid Mahmood, Principal Govt. Khawaja Farid Gradute College Rahim Yar Khan along with principals from other colleges were also present at the occasion.

In front of your eyes is the booklet letting you know of the step by step goings-on of the Inter-Collegiate Sports Championship (Phase-I, Rahim Yar Khan) held from February 13, 2023 through February 17,2023, organised by Deputy Director Colleges RYK, M'am Sadia Rasheed and hosted at 05 different vanues (Separate for males and females). The speciality of the occasion is twofold: The whole event was conducted in collaboration with The Sports Board Punjab; and the honourable Deputy Commissioner of the district, Mr. Shakeel Ahmed Bhatti and Director Colleges, Bahawalpur, Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim graced the occasion and encouraged the participants. The players from various colleges of the city coming to take part in games of their interest to win laurels showed their abilities and received awards from the worthy guests. The winning teams had to leave for divisional headquarter, Bahawal pur, in order to contest the other teams won at their respective districts. And resultantly, the teams championing at divisional level have to go provincial capital, Lahore, to beat other winning teams for the major title.
