I often interact with aspirants who are reluctant to have their work evaluated for two reasons: first, they believe they are overqualified to be evaluated; second, they are afraid to reveal their mistakes given their long journey of preparation. I presume both attitudes are destructive in the long term, as they end up living with their mistakes.
I am convinced that making mistakes for the sake of improvement is not a matter of shame; living with them is!
