A New Milestone in Student Transportation

GGDC has taken another positive step towards improving transportation facilities for its students with the addition of a new bus to the college fleet.

This achievement has been made possible through the dedicated efforts of the Principal, *Dr. Naheed Khan* , who continues to work for the betterment of the college and the convenience of its students. The Principal appreciated the efforts of the Education Department and Education Minister *Miss Rahila Durrani* for providing this much-needed facility.

On 10th August 2026, the newly received bus started its route and successfully covered its assigned destination. The addition of this bus has brought greater convenience and improved transportation facilities, particularly for students travelling from distant areas.

Previously, the college had only two functional buses serving long-distance routes and operating in double shifts, which created considerable pressure on the existing transport system. The addition of the new bus has helped ease this burden and provide better transportation arrangements for students. This new facility is another significant milestone in the development of Government Girls Degree College Khanozai.

*Completion of Bus Parking Shed*

The construction of the Bus Parking Shed, which began in 2022, has now been successfully completed through the dedicated efforts of Principal Dr. Naheed Khan.

The newly completed facility provides a secure and covered parking space for the college buses, protecting them from direct sunlight and adverse weather conditions. This important achievement enhances the maintenance and longevity of the college transport and reflects the administration's commitment to improving campus infrastructure.

*Morning Assembly & Friday Dars*

Date: 13th July, 2026

*Objective*

To promote discipline, punctuality, confidence, and the moral and spiritual development of students.

The college has resumed its Morning Assembly as a regular activity. The Morning Assembly offers a balanced blend of educational, motivational, and Islamic activities, nurturing discipline, moral character, spiritual awareness, confidence, and active student participation.

*Friday Dars*

A weekly Friday Dars has also been introduced to strengthen students' moral and spiritual values. The Dars includes brief lessons from the Holy Quran and Sunnah, promoting good character, ethics, and respect.

*Outcomes*

- Improved discipline and punctuality.
- Enhanced confidence and unity.
- Greater awareness of Islamic values and ethics.

*A Step Towards Better Drinking Water Facilities*

On 14th July, 2026 Government Girls Degree College, Khanozai has successfully installed a water cooler with a filtration system and a water storage tank for the students. This new facility is another valuable achievement for the college and will provide students with clean, safe, and cool drinking water throughout the day.

This initiative was made possible through the efforts of Hafiz Khalil Sahib and the respected Principal, Dr. Naheed Khan, who remain committed to improving student facilities and well-being.

The college administration appreciated this important addition, which will especially benefit students during the summer season and contribute to a healthier and more comfortable learning environment.
