5th Day
"Workshop on Undergrad STEM Education in Pakistan" at IT Department, BUITEMS, Quetta.

Today Syed Izzat Ullah focused on "Development of a Robot from Scratch".
Dr. Kamran from Middlesex University, UK focused on "Communication with and among the Robots"

Another speaker from Middlesex University Dr. Syed Muhammad explained "Course Design, Assessment and Evaluation"
Director NCRA Dr. Yasar Ayaz focused on "Interdisciplinary Aspects of AI: Challenges & Opportunities".

The closing ceremony of Workshop was attended by Director ORIC, Dr. Anayat Ullah, Dean of Faculty Prof. Dr. Bakhtiar Kasi, Co-PI Dr. Imran Qureshi.

Shields were presented to PI, Guest speakers/Trainers and Management Team by Dean of Faculty Prof. Dr. Bakhtiar Kasi .

4th Day
"Workshop on Undergrad STEM Education in Pakistan" at IT Department, BUITEMS, Quetta.

Today Dr. Muhammad Haroon Yousaf, Director & PI SRL, Uet Taxilla focused on "State-of-the-art STEM Robotics".

Khawar Ali (Research Associate) along with Tallah mehmood, Ramsha Shahid & Hamza Anwar explained the fundamental skills in STEM. Providing Hand-on Training and application of STEM in Mbots. This fun, team-based setting will inspires participants (Faculty) to motivate students to pursue STEM-based careers.

Miss Ramsha Shahid introduces "ROS and its Hardware Implementation".

An online talk of Dr. Abubakar Lasebae from Middlesex University, UK on "Security in Mechatronics and Robotics".

On third day of Workshop Director ORIC & PI CARL Dr. Anayat Ullah Baloch focused on "Policy Gradient Methods in Deep Reinforcement Learning for Robotic Control"

Our keynote speaker, Minhaj rehman presented his talk on. "Neuro Symbolic AI - Building Sentient Machines"

Dr. Mohsin Raza from Edge Hill University, UK demonstrated the Course Design, Assessment and Evaluation of Digital Twins & Industrial Wireless Sensor Networks

"Workshop on Undergrad STEM Education in Pakistan" at IT Department, BUITEMS, Quetta.

Today online sessions of Dr. Abdul Basit Memon and Dr. Hassan Jaleel on Robotic Education & Reinforcement Learning. Mainly focused on Reinforcement Learning & Applications in Robotics.

Dr. Mehmood Baryalai focused on "Cyber Security Concerns in Industrial IoTs"

Today Dr. Imran Qureshi focused on "Computer Vision, Machine Learning & Deep Learning". Ramsha Shahid and Hamza Nadeem provided training on "Coppeliasim Robotics Simulator".

Our honourable former Pro VC Dr. Faisal Ahmed Khan focused on "AI Role in Building Developing Countries".
An online session of Dr. Franco Raimondi from Middlesex University on "Writing Correct Software for Complex and Critical Applications"

Dr. Ayesha Maqbool talked on "Distributed AI in Robotics"

Day 1

Workshop on "Undergrad STEM Education in Pakistan" at IT Department, BUITEMS, Quetta. The hands-on workshop was focused on Python.

Dr. Abdul Samad and Muhammad shah were the Speakers/Trainers for the first day. The workshop was attended by participants (professionals and students) from different universities.

The Team CARL appreciates the enthusiasm and warm interest of participants in the workshop/training.

Syed Izzat Ullah - Team Lead, briefed about the current research and innovation activities at CARL-BUITEMS.

A special discussion along with the Principal Investigator, Co-PI and Team of CARL was also organized to understand the various possibilities and challenges. Discussion on future projects, collaborations and their commercialisation was discussed in the meeting.
