🧑‍🎓 Attention International Students! 🇬🇧

Starting in 2025, the United Kingdom will no longer issue Biometric Residence Permits (BRP). Instead, international students arriving for the January 2025 Intake will receive an eVisa linked to their passport, which can be used for travel.

Key Updates:

1: No More BRP Collection: UKVI has removed the BRP collection postcode requirement from the visa application form.
2: eVisa Instead of BRP: Your eVisa will replace the BRP and will be linked directly to your passport.

How to Access Your eVisa

To access your eVisa, you need permission to stay in the UK for longer than 6 months (granted in England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland).

Steps to Apply:

Create an Account on the UKVI website.
1: Have your valid passport and your visa application number (GWF or UAN) ready.
2: Sign in to your UKVI account to view your eVisa.
3: If you have a BRP number, provide it. If not, use your visa or immigration application number.
4: Confirm your identity using the UK Immigration ID Check app.
