Students of Final Year Civil Engineering Department, along with Head of Department Dr. Wajeeha Qamar and faculty members, visited the Pile Load Test site of the Metro Bus Project in Faisalabad.

The visit provided students with valuable practical exposure to foundation engineering, construction techniques, and on-site testing procedures being implemented in a major infrastructure project.

Such industrial visits bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world engineering practice, helping students better understand modern construction challenges and solutions.

I graduated from NFC Institute of Engineering & Technology and later pursued a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from NUST, Pakistan. Currently, I am further enhancing my expertise by pursuing a Master’s in Construction Project Management at the University of Wolverhampton, UK.

During my professional journey, I had the privilege of working at NFC as a Lab Engineer, where I was also part of the dedicated faculty. I then progressed to roles as a Junior Structural Engineer and later as a Senior Design and Sales Engineer. My experience at NFC was truly enriching, not only in terms of academic learning but also in witnessing the commitment and hard work of the faculty members. Their guidance, expertise, and dedication to students’ success have played a crucial role in shaping my career. I am grateful for the knowledge, experiences, and challenges I encountered at NFC, and I look forward to applying these learnings in my future endeavors.
