The Nursing Seminar titled "Evidence-Based Strategies for Prevention of Surgical Complications in Adult Patients Undergoing Major Surgery Under GA (A Perioperative Nursing Approach)" was successfully conducted today, 23rd June 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Farkhanda Institute of Nursing and Public Health, Peshawar. The seminar was organized by Group 5 of the same institute, Batch 2022-2026.

We were greatly honored to have Mr. Afsar Dad, Director of Nursing at Peshawar Institute of Cardiology, as our Chief Guest, and Mr. Farman, Principal of SHS, as our Guest of Honor. Their valuable presence and encouragement added great significance to the event.

The seminar was presented by Waqas Ali Shah, Amjid Ali and Shehzadi Yasmeen, under the facilitation of Mam Almas Murad. The team leaders were Waqas Ali Shah and Muhammad Awais. The session focused on perioperative nursing approaches and evidence-based strategies to reduce surgical complications, and it was met with active participation and appreciation from the audience.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all faculty members, guests, and students who attended and contributed to the success of this event. It was a proud moment for our institute and a valuable learning experience for our future nursing professionals.
