The Department of Management Sciences proudly hosted the Final Year Project (FYP) Defence, where our final-year students presented the innovative products and business solutions they had developed over the course of an entire year. We were honoured to welcome Mr. Sohail Ahmad, CEO of Learn Abroad Consultant, as a distinguished judge. Following the project evaluations, Mr. Sohail Ahmad shared valuable insights on career development, international education, and global scholarship opportunities, encouraging students to explore pathways for academic and professional growth beyond graduation.

The Department of Management Sciences was delighted to host the team from Action Digital Institute for an insightful interactive session on digital marketing and emerging career opportunities in the digital economy.
During the session, the experts introduced students to the fundamentals of digital marketing, including social media marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), content creation, online branding, paid advertising, and the growing role of digital platforms in today's business environment. The students of the Department of Management Sciences, recently visited Stanley Foods (Pvt.) Limited for an enriching industrial visit aimed at bridging the gap between academic learning and real world business practices.
During the visit, students gained firsthand exposure to modern food processing operations, quality assurance procedures, production planning, supply chain management, packaging, and food safety standards. The industry experts at Stanley Foods generously shared their knowledge and provided valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities within Pakistan's food manufacturing sector.

The faculty members of the Department of Management Sciences had the honor of visiting Akbar Kare Institute, where they witnessed an inspiring mission of hope, compassion, and education. The dedication of the institute's team to nurturing young minds and providing opportunities for deserving students is truly commendable and serves as a reminder of the transformative power of education.
As a small gesture of encouragement, the faculty distributed book packages among the students, believing that every book placed in a child's hands opens the door to new dreams, knowledge, and endless possibilities. CECOS University and ICMA Pakistan Sign MoU to Create New Opportunities for Business Students.
CECOS University is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA Pakistan), establishing a strategic partnership to strengthen academic excellence, professional development, and industry engagement.
The collaboration brings exciting opportunities for students of the Department of Management Sciences, particularly those enrolled in BBA, BS Accounting & Finance, BS Islamic Banking & Finance, MBA, MS (with a Commerce background), MPA, and other eligible undergraduate programs.
A key highlight of the partnership is the academic exemption facility offered by ICMA Pakistan. Students of BS Accounting & Finance, BS Islamic Banking & Finance, BBA, MBA, and eligible MS programs will receive exemptions in 9 ICMA papers along with 3 practical modules, while students of non Commerce bachelor's programs and MPA will be eligible for exemptions in 6 ICMA papers and 3 practical modules. These exemptions will enable students to complete the ICMA professional qualification more efficiently and accelerate their journey toward becoming qualified management accountants.
In addition, the MoU provides 100% tuition fee scholarships for the top three graduates, merit based scholarships of 75% and 50%, 25% tuition fee scholarships for CECOS staff and their children, and 25% tuition fee discounts for eligible CECOS students pursuing ICMA qualifications.
The partnership also includes internships, Management Trainee Officer (MTO) opportunities, career fairs, joint seminars and conferences, research collaboration, faculty and student development initiatives, and annual recognition of outstanding students.
This collaboration reflects the shared commitment of CECOS University and ICMA Pakistan to bridge academia and the profession, equipping students with internationally recognized qualifications, practical industry exposure, and enhanced career opportunities.

Innovation took center stage as the Department of Management Sciences, CECOS University, proudly hosted its Final Year Project (FYP) Open House 2026.
Seven outstanding student teams presented innovative, research-driven projects, demonstrating their creativity, problem-solving abilities, and entrepreneurial mindset before a distinguished panel of judges from the National Incubation Center (NIC).
After a competitive evaluation, the top three projects were recognized for their exceptional innovation and impact, receiving cash prizes in appreciation of their remarkable achievements.
The event celebrated more than just projects—it showcased the passion, dedication, and potential of our future business leaders and innovators. Congratulations to all participating teams for transforming ideas into meaningful solutions, and special applause to our winning teams on their well-deserved success!

CECOS University and TechKhwa have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening cooperation in digital skills development, innovation, and industry-oriented learning.
The MoU was formally signed by Vice Chancellor Dr. Muhammad Mohsin Khan and Chief Executive Officer Kashif Ali during an official ceremony focused on enhancing academia industry linkages and expanding experiential learning opportunities for students.
Under this collaboration, both institutions will work together on training programs, internships, mentorship initiatives, workshops, hackathons, and exposure to emerging technologies. The partnership is designed to strengthen students’ practical competencies in line with evolving industry demands and future career pathways.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to reducing the gap between academic learning and industry practice, while promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment.
This MoU represents an important step toward deeper industry engagement and the development.
